Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) is a 3 to 4 years Undergraduate course depending on the specialization chosen by the students. It deals with the study of Visual or Performing Arts. It is also called as Bachelor of Visual Arts with the subjects such as painting, sculpture, photography, literature, animation, etc. On the other hand, the study of Performing Arts includes subjects such as dance, theatre and music. This course can be pursued through the full-time, part-time, online or distant learning programme. Eligibility criteria for pursuing BFA:
The eligibility criteria for BFA is similar for most of the colleges nd universities in India. It may change as per the requirement of the University. The eligibility criteria for government colleges will be same. On the other hand, private colleges or universities may have different eligibility criteria as per their requirement.

Candidates must have completed 12 Class from any recognized board in India.
Candidates must have secured aggregate marks of minimum 50% in their 12 class board exams.
Candidates must have passed the exam with English or Hindi as one of their subjects in class 12.
BFA Admission Process:
Admission process for BFA varies for different colleges. Some colleges offer admission depending upon the merit secured in 12th class board exam whereas other Universities conduct their own entrance exam to provide admissions for the aspirants.
